Kindness

Being kind should be
Like second nature;
Humility should come through
In every gesture.
Forethought and deliberation
Do not define kindness.
It should be an innate virtue
That is effortless.

The best part about
Being kind to other people,
Is that life will return the favour;
And make your own happiness double.
Be kind, even to the people
Who don’t deserve your kindness.
So they can see life’s better side
And clear their mind’s mess.

Cosmic Declaration

The light of the dawn proclaims the promise:
Each day I am renewed and restored.
As my heart rests upon the scales of justice,
In my soul only doing good deeds are adored.

The way is made to open before me;
I am protected and at peace along life’s journey.
All of my battles are conquered daily,
I sit upon a throne of triumph and victory.

Wisdom attends my every thought,
Fate is made manifest by my speech.
